Warded in Hospital

The continuous coughing that Ikhwan faced since Sunday 28/1/07 forced us to bring him to the clinic. Unfortunately, giving some nebulizer there did not really help. The young doctor recommended bringing Ikhwan to the specialist. So, there we go....we brought Ikhwan to the Puteri Specialist at about 23 Hours on Sunday and Ikhwan was admitted because of Bronchitist. So, I waited and accompanied him in the hospital. Mummy, Marsya, Alya and Bibik spent the night at my parents place in Taman Gembira. It's closer to the hospital compared to our house in Skudai.

Ikhwan had nebulizer every two hours and some liquid medicine as well from time to time.

Ikhwan to Hospital

Today, we rushed to Puteri Specialist to diagnose Ikhwan. We were wandering the whole night, what was happening to Ikhwan? Why does the fever would not reduced? So, we arrived to the hospital. Ikhwan vomited for the first time during this fever on the hospital floor. I did not witnesed the event as I was parking the car and registering Ikhwan. But, soon we discovered that Ikhwan temperature has reduced to 38.0 oC. Hmmm....how come now only the temperature want to come down??? To cut things short, Ikhwan does not need to be warded. So, his body temperature has reduced and he do not want to eat anything else except for Mr Potato. I bougth the Mr Potato (RM4.90 per pack at Petronas Taman U) and Ikhwan ate a little. Then I bought him Macdonald's vanilla flavour ice cream. He can licked it. That's good enough as he need some carbohydrate and sugar from the ice cream for energy. However, as we reached home, we discovered that Marsya and Alya have also caught fever!!!

High Fever

Today, Ikhwan is sick. He has a very high fever. His heart was beating very fast. I'm very worried at work after my wife informed me about his condition. Mummy brought Ikhwan to see Dr Alewi at Poliklinik Sri Puteri. He was given an antibiotic injection and nebulizer as well as other treatment. Dr Alewi said Ikhwan lung was infected by some virus. I rushed home after 5.30pm and check out my son. He's damn hot. I put few wet towels onto his forehead, neck and chest. That was done by mummy before daddy arrive home. Gave him some medicine and let him enjoy Transformers the movie and Chicken Little. Afterwards, going to watch Mr Bean together.
